      • Our Commitment to Cats

Fostering a compassionate community for feral felines.

        Trap/Neuter/Return (TNR)

Our primary focus is on Trap/Neuter/Return (TNR) programs, which effectively manage the feral cat population in Southeast Saskatchewan. By humanely trapping cats, providing necessary medical care, and returning them to their original locations, we aim to stabilize these communities while reducing the number of homeless cats. This method not only improves the health of the cats but also reduces unwanted kittens and benefits local ecosystems.

        Community Education

We believe that education is key to fostering a responsible pet ownership culture. We engage with the community through workshops, information sessions, and outreach programs, teaching the importance of spaying and neutering pets. By raising awareness about feral cats and their needs, we empower individuals to take proactive measures in helping these animals.

        Feral Cat Colony Management

One of our most successful initiatives has been the management of several feral cat colonies across Southeast Saskatchewan. Through consistent TNR efforts, we have seen significant reductions in cat populations and improvements in their overall health, leading to a more balanced ecosystem.

        Spay/Neuter Clinics

We have completed multiple spay/neuter clinics that have, throught the assistance of supporting vet clinics, provided low-cost services to alter these community cats. These clinics have successfully altered hundreds of cats, preventing unwanted litters and contributing to the health and longevity of the feral cat population.

        Community Outreach Programs

Our outreach programs have engaged communities in discussions about feral cats, their challenges, and how to help. By distributing educational materials and hosting events, we have fostered a greater understanding and compassion for these animals within our community.
